Guillain-Barre Syndrome

What is Guillain-Barre Syndrome?

Guillain-Barre Syndrome is a temporary inflammation of the nerves. This causes pain, weakness, and paralysis in the arms and legs that often moves to the face and chest. It typically occurs after recovery from a viral infection or, in rare cases, following immunization for influenza.
