Denver TB Course

Since the introduction of effective chemotherapy, many changes have come about in the management of tuberculosis. The purpose of this course is to present this body of knowledge to general internists, public health workers, infectious diseases and chest specialists, registered nurses and other healthcare providers who will be responsible for the management and care of tuberculosis.

Pro-Ed Courses

The faculty of the Division are interested in working with interested organizations to provide outstanding education and training opportunities for their faculty and staff. We have worked with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to enhance their employee’s knowledge regarding infectious diseases of interest.

If you are interested in working with our Division, please contact Pro-Ed at (303) 398-1000 or visit their webpage.

Fellowship Training

Lowerre Mycobacterial Fellowship

Thanks to the foresight and generous support of the Lowerre family, we are able to offer training in mycobacterial research. This fellowship is targeted to individuals who are interested in specializing in the care and research of mycobacterial infections. Interested individuals should contact Mary Peterson at (303) 398-1667.

Infectious Disease Rotating Fellowship

The Division hosts a visiting Fellow each month. The Fellow works closely with the faculty and staff of the Division managing patients on the Extended Outpatient Program. This is a unique experience for both Pulmonary and Infectious Diseases Fellows. The Fellow will also have a one-half day clinic per week during the rotation. There is no call required and weekends are off so the Fellows are free to enjoy Denver and the Rockies! Interested individuals are asked to contact Cathy Queen at (303) 398-1700.
